Directions to Grounds

Harrogate HC. Granby High School.

From South(Leeds/Bradford, M1,M62)

At roundabout where A658 meets A61 from Leeds, follow Harrogate signs A61. Continue on A61 towards Harrogate, through at least two sets of Traffic lights, At roundabout on The Stray (Large open park land area) turn right. This is York Place, that leads into Knaresborough Road. The Stray park land is on your right with the town centre of Harrogate on your left. Continue to next roundabout and turn left A 59 towards Harrogate Centre, within 100 yards at a set of Traffic lights turn right into Claro Road. ****Sign post as you approach lights indicates Granby High School/Harrogate Hockey Club to your right. Continue down Claro Road and follow signed direction to your right to School and astro turf pitch. Into School grounds and continue to your left, you will see astro turf lights etc., with Clubhouse and changing rooms at the near end of the pitch, alongside the car park.

From East and A1 North/South

From A1(M) take A59 through Knaresborough. At roundabout as you approach The Stray (Large open parkland area) turn right A59 towards Harrogate Centre, within 100 yards at a set of Traffic lights turn right into Claro Road. Then as ***** above

Kingston upon Hull Hockey Club

Take M62, to Hull, which becomes the A63.

Continue on A63 and go under the Humber Bridge follow the signs for the KC Stadium. Carry on this road until the Daltry Street Flyover, turn left before this and follow the signs for the KC Stadium. At the next roundabout take second left, Rawling Way, still following signs for KC Stadium. At the next crossroad traffic lights, turn left on to Anlaby Road, A1105. Stay in right lane over the railway flyover. At the bottom of the flyover turn right in to Walton Street. After 200 metres turn right on to the Showfield and park on the left. The changing rooms are in the Sports Hall. The Astros are near the railway lines.

Note: Difficulties may be encountered when Hull City AFC is at home. The password to enter car park ….. if needed is 'HOCKEY'

Huntington School, York

The School is situated on the Huntington Road, 1.2 miles from the roundabout on the A1237 York North Ring Road. From South & West, A1, M1, M62 take A64 towards York, Either

Take slip road and follow A1237 York Ring Road, continue on A1237 to 7th roundabout, and turn right into Huntington Road. After 1.2 miles School is on your left and astro pitch and parking on your right.

Continue on A64 around York to end of dual Carriageway, at roundabout take A1036 towards York City Centre. Within a very short distance take A1237 Ring Road and at 3rd roundabout turn left into Huntington Road. After 1.2 miles School is on your left, astro pitch and parking on your right.

From West/North … Harrogate A1(A59) and A19

At roundabout where either road meets A1237 York North Ring Road turn left and continue until you reach the Huntington roundabout. Turn right into Huntington Road. After 1.2 miles School is on your left and astro pitch and parking on your right.

From North East A64

At roundabout at start of Ring York Ring Road take A1036 towards York City Centre. Within a very short distance take A1237 Ring Road and at 3rd roundabout turn left into Huntington Road. After 1.2 miles School is on your left, astro pitch and parking on your right.

From East (Driffield/Hull)

Take A64 Ring Road towards Scarborough/Malton. A64 around York to end of dual Carriageway, at roundabout take A1036 towards York City Centre. Within a very short distance take A1237 Ring Road and at 3rd roundabout turn left into Huntington Road. After 1.2 miles School is on your left, astro pitch and parking on your right

Ben Rhydding Hockey Club

Ben Rhydding HC is alongside the A65 approaching Ilkley on the Leeds to Skipton Road. From North/York A1.

Take either A59/A658 or A659 to Otley and follow A650 to Ilkley and Ben Rhydding HC. is alongside the A65 approaching Ilkley on the Leeds to Skipton Road.

From Leeds City Centre, M62.M1.

From Leeds Inner Ring Road {A58(M) and A64(M)} take A65 and continue to Ilkley. Ben Rhydding HC. is alongside the A65 approaching Ilkley on the Leeds to Skipton Road.
